Main Responsibilities

  • Instructors will exercise his/her duties in accordance with EASA Part-147 requirements and in adherence with EASA Part-66 basic and type training specifications
  • Reports directly to the Manager Engineering Training, responsible for delivering a part-66 module, in accordance with appendix I, or part thereof
  • Reports directly to the Manager Engineering Training, responsible for identifying the level of required practical skills of the trainees for a particular Part-66 module, or part thereof
  • Reports directly to the Manager Engineering Training, responsible for delivering type training in accordance with Part-66 Appendix IIII, or part thereof
  • Reports directly to the Manager Engineering Training, responsible for delivering type/task training in a practical environment. This kind of training may be conducted in a laboratory or workshop, on training equipment, or at the actual working place of the trainee. An instructor may provide the briefing session in a classroom or in the work place prior to hands-on session or exercise
  • Required to take part in delivering training (including remedial training), assess trainees and is involved in the evaluation of training courses and programmes. Role may include mentoring and coaching
  • Necessarily involved in the drafting of the course material and updating them, he/she must be involved in the organization of the lessons themselves (creation of the instructor notes, slides, sequencing etc.)
  • Undertakes duties of invigilator where he/she is not involved in the instruction of the candidates attending the examination
  • Work closely with line maintenance staff to identify training needs and ensure training provided is applicable in relation to type training, theoretical and practical
  • Supports administration duties as per the instructions of the Manager Engineering Training
  • Comply with the assignments given to him/her by the Manager Engineering Training inside or outside Bahrain

Minimum Requirements

  • EASA Part 66 B license required
