Mr. Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), visited the Bahrain Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC) pavilion during its participation in this year’s Youth City 2030, where he explored the training programs and practical learning experiences designed to introduce young people to aircraft engineering and the aviation sector.
During the visit, Mr. Nabeel observed the workshops and activities offered to participants, which provide hands-on insight into aircraft engineering and airport operations. He also praised the strong engagement at the pavilion and commended the instructors, supervisors, and students for delivering high-quality training that introduces the next generation to diverse engineering and technical disciplines within aviation, while opening new pathways for further learning and development.
The Chairman affirmed BAS’s steadfast commitment to empowering promising Bahraini talent, emphasizing that investing in local youth and equipping them with specialized knowledge and practical expertise remains a key pillar of the company’s strategy to build a sustainable future for the Kingdom’s aviation sector.
Mr. Nabeel further noted that BAS continues its efforts to supply the aviation industry with qualified national professionals equipped to drive its future growth. He highlighted that national initiatives, such as Youth City 2030, represent vital platforms for discovering local talent early, developing their skills, and introducing them to career opportunities in key industries.
