Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has signed a three-year Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA) with InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) for Line Maintenance Services.
As part of the agreement, BAS will be providing scheduled Technical Certification Services for IndiGo flights departing from the Bahrain International Airport. The SGHA outlines BAS’ high-level offering while further showcasing the capabilities of its line maintenance services in partnership with InterGlobe Aviation Limited.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Mohammed Khalil, CEO of BAS, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with IndiGo, India’s largest passenger airline, to provide them with our best-in-class line maintenance services on par with international standards. BAS looks forward to extending its collaborations with internationally renowned airlines demonstrating our commitment to enhancing our services.”
The SGHA entitles BAS to issue certificates of release to service after scheduled maintenance checks as well as defecting rectification, troubleshooting, component replacement and minor repairs within the scope of the authorization.
