Aircraft Engineering Services

BAS is a leading provider of line maintenance services, offering a full suite of high-quality line maintenance services on both a scheduled and on-call basis.

BAS Line Maintenance is an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) which operates and delivers an excellent line maintenance support for a broad range of aircraft types, including new generations such as Airbus A320neo, A350 and Boeing 787. Our highly qualified workforce is ready to provide you with a 24/7 technical support and to release your aircraft according to EASA 145, BCAA, FAA and approvals from several other National Aviation Authorities.

We have the technical qualifications to work on most of Airbus and Boeing fleets and their power plants to guarantee you the best “on-time performance” that can be.

Our multinational team of engineers and technicians are licensed by several regulatory authorities in all categories, including the BCAA and EASA. In addition to the Airbus A320, A330, A340 & A350 and Boeing B737, B747, B777 & B787 and Embraer ERJ 170 series, we also provide technical support to numerous customer aircrafts.

The confidence of our customers has propelled BAS Engineering to attain greater heights in such a short span of becoming a major Line Maintenance Service Provider at Bahrain International Airport. The quality systems and procedures laid down by BAS is set to the highest international standards and includes the latest Safety Management System; it’s thorough incorporation and implementation has brought continuous improvements to the system.

The department issues certificates release to services to the full and on-call contracted customers, ensuring the compliance with the service standards set in place while also assessing the airworthiness of the aircrafts.

Key components of Line Maintenance services include trouble shooting, defects rectification, component replacement, repairs, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.

BAS also is approved to perform works away from the approved locations to support the occasional aircraft line maintenance and to support an unserviceable aircraft due to an unscheduled event (AOG).

Airplanes have to be safe and they have to be ready for take-off on time – this is basically what line maintenance is all about!
