As part of its corporate social responsibility and commitment to supporting public health and raising health awareness, Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has launched a breast cancer awareness campaign “You Are Not Alone” in conjunction with the global celebration of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The campaign aims to raise awareness among employees and the community about the importance of early detection and its role in disease prevention, in addition to offering necessary support in facing health challenges.
The campaign included an awareness lecture, organized in cooperation with Al Hilal Hospital, which provided important guidance and tips on how to perform self-examinations to detect breast cancer and the importance of regular check-ups. This activity underlines the company’s commitment to the health and safety of its employees and its dedication to providing a healthy and safe working environment.
