Nabeel Kanoo: Bahrain’s Celebration of Saudi National Day Reflects Deep-Rooted Ties and a Shared Destiny

On the occasion of the 95th Saudi National Day, Mr. Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Kanoo emphasized that this occasion symbolizes more than three centuries of enduring history. He expressed profound pride in the longstanding and ever-strengthening bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These ties, he noted, are bolstered by the shared vision and continued guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who remain steadfast in their commitment to advancing mutual interests and regional unity.

He further remarked that Bahraini-Saudi relations stand as a powerful expression of the historical, cultural, and fraternal bonds that unite the two nations. Rooted in common religion, language, and a shared destiny, these ties serve as a model of bilateral cooperation. Bahrain’s participation in Saudi Arabia’s National Day celebrations, he added, is a clear reflection of the depth of this special relationship and its exemplary status among regional alliances.

The BAS Chairman paid tribute to Saudi Arabia’s honourable historical stances and its pivotal role in championing the causes of Arab and Islamic nations. He lauded the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their continued dedication to safeguarding the region’s interests and supporting its development.

Mr. Kanoo also praised Saudi Arabia’s remarkable cultural and developmental achievements under the ambitious Vision 2030 strategy, which he described as a source of pride for the entire region. He commended the Kingdom’s leadership for driving comprehensive national progress and extended his profound wishes for continued stability and prosperity to the Saudi people.

Looking ahead, he affirmed BAS’s strong aspiration to establish a presence in the Saudi market and to offer its aviation services at airports across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the Saudi market as one of the most promising in terms of aviation and passenger traffic growth, particularly in light of Vision 2030’s transformative projects. He concluded by noting that Saudi airports are witnessing significant increases in traffic and operational scale, making them a strategic focus for future BAS expansion and collaboration.
