Nabeel Khalid Kanoo
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Nabeel has over two decades of experience in the tourism and travel sector. He served as the President of Kanoo Travel and several other prominent positions in the industry.
In addition to his role as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Airport Services “BAS”, Mr. Nabeel is a Board Member of Oasis Capital and EK Kanoo. Additionally, he is currently the Chairman of the Kanoo Ventures, a strategic business unit within Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo.
Mr. Nabeel holds a Bachelors in Business Management from St. Edwards University, in Austin, Texas
Dr. Jeffrey Goh
Deputy Chairman
Dr Jeffrey Goh is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Air Group Holding, a state-owned enterprise entrusted with overseeing and developing the air transportation industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Gulf Air Group Holding comprises of national carrier Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company, Gulf Aviation Academy and joint venture companies in airport services and duty free.
Prior to his current appointment, Dr Goh held several senior executive positions at Star Alliance for over 16 years, including serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Star Alliance (Germany/Singapore) a role he assumed since January 2017, and as the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel, General Counsel & VP Corporate Services, with responsibilities including strategy and membership development, human resources, joint sourcing and fuel-related projects, legal, finance and project management. Previously, Dr Goh also held positions at the International Air Transport Association in Montreal and at Beaumont & Son, a leading aviation law firm in London.
Dr Goh has significant international experience and exposure in the private and public sectors. He possesses extensive knowledge of global airline alliances and airline industry and has broad experience in senior corporate management including strategy development and cross-cultural stakeholder management as well as sustainability initiatives. He presently serves on the Board of China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd. as an independent non-executive director and is Chairman of the Global Loyalty Organisation (GLO).
Dr Goh has a Doctor of Philosophy in the Principles and Policies of Regulating Airline Competition from the University of Sheffield, UK and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Hull, UK.
Fuad M. Jalal
Director
Mr. Fuad M. Jalal is one of the owners and Director of Mohammed Jalal & Sons Group of Companies, Bahrain. The Mohammed Jalal Group is operational and has offices throughout the Middle East. The Group also has joint venture companies like UPS, Airmech, Mechanical Contracting & Services W.L.L. (MCSC), Tullett & Tokyo (Bahrain) W.L.L., Awal Press, Hawk Security Services, Dubai, etc. in its fold.
The Mohammed Jalal Group is a diversified and entrepreneurial conglomerate, and the origins of the group date back to 1947. A number of group companies operate in other countries in the region, most notably Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. The Group operates trading, manufacturing, contracting, and service companies and has joint ventures in primary industry investments and operations.
The group employs more than 2,500 staff and has extensive property and land holdings in the Middle East, Europe, and the USA. Mr. Fuad M. Jalal graduated in 1981 with an MBA in Management Science from Chapman University, California, USA.
He took the IBM Training Program in Basingstoke, UK, in 1987. Mr. Fuad Jalal was the founder of Data Capture Systems in 1989 (Bahrain, UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait) and is also responsible for running the company’s day-to-day operations and management.
Mr. Fuad M. Jalal is also the Director of Unilever Bahrain, a company representing Unilever and its products in Bahrain. He is an ex-member of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and an ex-member of the Muharraq Club, Bahrain.
Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa

Shk Ali is an airline veteran with 18 years in Gulf Air spent across revenue management and network planning. He is currently Director of Strategy and Business Development at Gulf Air Group Holding.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Systems Analysis and Engineering from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Air Transport Management from City University London and a Master’s of Business Administration from DePaul University.
Ahmed Al Rahama
Director
Mr. Ahmed has over 14 years of experience in the finance and investment sectors. He is currently a Portfolio Manager at Kanoo Ventures, a strategic business unit within the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group.
In his professional capacity, he oversees several companies in the regional and global portfolios of Kanoo Ventures and plays a pivotal role in driving the private-equity and venture-capital investment strategies as part of the investment team. His past experience includes finance and investment roles at Chalhoub Group and BMMI Group.
Ahmed is a CISI member and has other finance and management fellowships in international organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, with a double major in Finance and Accounting. Mr Ahmed has completed several advanced investment and leadership programs at renowned institutions such as University of Oxford, Harvard Business School, and Wharton School of Business.
Sara Sabt
Director
Sara is a Director in Gulf Air Group Holding Company (GFG) Executive Office. She has significant experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Information Security Management and Quality Management. She also works on compliance projects such as designing ESG framework and obtaining organization wide accreditations such as ISO certifications and other accreditations. Added to that, Sara plays a major role in incidents and accidents investigation.
Sara has over 13 years’ experience in Risk, Business Continuity, Information Security and Compliance Management. During her career, Sara designed risk registers and heatmaps, developed business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans and crisis management plans. She has successfully designed and implemented a wide range of management systems in line with international standards including ISO 27001/2, 20000,9001,22301,45001,14001,37301,31000,55001 for several organizations operating in industries such as aviation, government, banking, retail and education and other accreditations including Skytrax COVID-19 five-star rating, ACI Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) and safeguard label for Bahrain Airport Company and Bahrain International Airport.
Sara is an International Airport Professional (IAP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), ISO 37301 Lead Implementer and ISO 55001 Lead Auditor. She holds a Bachelor of Business Information Systems degree from University of Bahrain.
Eshaq Ebrahim Eshaq

Mr. Eshaq has over 11 years of experience in the finance and investments sector. He was elected as a Board Member at Bahrain Airport Services in 2017. Mr. Eshaq is Vice Chairman of the Union Gulf Investment Company B.S.C, and Eshaq Investment Company, He also serves as Chairman of the Board at African and Eastern, and acts as an Independent Board of Director at International Investment Bank. Mr. Eshaq is also a Director at BICC MET W.L.L.
He holds a Masters in Information Technology and Computer Science from Ahlia University, Bahrain and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Kogod School of Business, Washington DC.
