Aviation Security, Safety and Quality Assurance

Safety & Quality Assurance

Since 2009, BAS has established an effective Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO). From then on, BAS has upheld its certification successfully.
BAS has recently introduced the Q-Pulse application in line with internationally regulated quality standards which have further developed and improved methods to maintain safety and quality standards within BAS’s operations. All operational, safety and quality manuals are managed and maintained within the system to enable easy access to employees for reference and implementation.

Security

Certified and approved by local and International Regulatory Authorities such as: Bahrain Civil Aviation (BCAA), National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP 2017), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union (RA3), BAS’s Security Management System (SecMS) is committed to strictly adhering to local and international security standards to provide a safe and secure environment for its facilities and to ensure all business transactions are conducted with the utmost confidentiality between all parties.

Measures are put in place to detect and prohibit dangerous items from being accepted by air. Cargo and express parcels and mail consignments are clearly addressed and adhered to as per security protocols, ensuring safety for all.
