Bahrain Airport Services “BAS” held its first meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday the 1st of June 2021, where Mr. Nabeel Khaled Kanoo was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the membership of Dr. Samer Majid Al Jishi, Mr. Abdulhakim Khalil Al Mutawa, Mr. Farooq Mahmood Al Mahmood, Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Nurudin, Mr. Eshaq Ebrahim Eshaq as Director, and Mr. Ali Abdulaziz Abdulmalek as Directors.
From his side, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nabeel Kanoo expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Jalal Mohamed Jalal, former Chairman of the Board of Directors for his diligent efforts in leading the company and furthermore expressed his thanks and appreciation to former Board member Mr. Hisham El Saadi for his positive contribution and efforts. Mr. Nabeel furthermore congratulated the new members, emphasizing that the new Board comes with a boundless experience in various disciplines in the diversified sector. He also stated his thanks and appreciation to all for giving him the trust for this role and to lead this company to be one of the forefront major Bahraini companies, praising what has been achieved by the previous board over the past years.
Kanoo also stressed that “BAS’s” mission was driven from the wise leadership’s directions in supporting the private sector, its institutions and companies competitively. Emphasising that this will be reflected in moving the wheel of economic development and maintaining sustainable growth.
