BAETC is pleased to announce the opening of early registration for its highly respected Aircraft Engineer license – EASA Part 66 B1/B2 License course. As an internationally recognized and technologically advanced provider of formal aircraft engineering maintenance training, BAETC is the first training organization in the Middle East and Asia to have received the European Union Aviation Safety Agency Approval for its training Centre (EASA.147.0002). In addition, BAETC is recognized by the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA).
Commenting on this, Eng. Ahmed Alkooheji, BAETC Manager said: “The EASA Part 66 B1/B2 License course is a fully approved EASA Part 147 training program that provides training in the B1 & B2 categories. Each training category requires a total of 2,400 guided learning hours, completed during the first two years of training”. He added: “Courses are delivered through the use of classroom training, specialized workshops, hands-on training, simulations, and a 10-week on-the-job (OJT) training period within an EASA Part 145 approved aircraft maintenance facility at Bahrain Airport Services BAS, BAETC is accepting applications for scholarships grants that ranges between 10% to 25%”.
Throughout the two years of theoretical training, students will be taught a range of modules including Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Fundamentals, Electronic Fundamentals, Digital Techniques/Electronic Instrument Systems, Materials and Hardware, Maintenance Practices, Basic Aerodynamics, Human Factors, Aviation Legislation, Aeroplan Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems (Jet Engine), Propulsion, Gas Turbine Engine, and Propeller.
BAETC also offers a variety of Aircraft Type Ratings and specialized custom-made courses.
