As part of its sixth edition BAS is the Official Ground Handling Sponsor for the Bahrain International Airshow 2022

Manama, Bahrain – 08 November 2022: Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) announces that it is the Official Ground Handling Sponsor for the sixth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow 2022, which is held on the 9th to 11th of November at Sakhir Air Base.

As the official ground handler of the BIAS 2022, the company is managing all ground handling services for the participating airlines at the event. During this year’s event, BAS is providing handling services to over 100 aircraft owned by companies from regional and international airlines, ranging from commercial and passenger aircrafts to other aircrafts. The integrated services include assembling ramp equipment, electric tags, cleaning and maintenance, as well as security services. During the event, over 120 BAS staff members and 96 ground and support equipment will be running at the BIAS 2022 ground operations, ensuring high levels of excellent ground handling services for BIAS’s customers, as well as representing this national event on a international level with utmost profoundness.

The company is also preparing catering services for the entire three-day event, providing food and beverage outlets to over 54K expected trade visitors through food vendors, including food trucks, restaurants and food and beverage outlets. Noting that BAS catering services proudly meets the requirements of ISO 22000, an international standard that defines the food safety management system and quality assurance requirements, as it is also fully compliant with the International Health and Safety Standards (HACCP).
